    Newbury Street. Mecca for...

Newbury Street. Mecca for overpriced, trendy, ecclectic shopping delirium, unless of course you actually like that sort of thing. This view is not the most luxurious of Newbury Street, but I guess my camera couldn't afford to get the whole steeple in that shot so I just made up my mind to take what I could get and head back home. ;-) If you like expensive shopping, Newbury Street's worth driving around the block 10 times to find a parking space....but shhh.. don't tell anyone. :-)

Fun Alternatives: If you must do some shopping while in Boston, and you've already tried Quincy Market, the Cambridgeside Gallaria is a spacious Shopping Mall in Cambridge, Mass. with plenty of retail chain stores It's a short bus or T (subway) ride out from the downtown area. If you have a car, there's plenty of parking in the enclosed garage with entrances to the interior shops.
