T / subway: Take the T to Japan!
The T rocks. It's only 1.25 at most locations and it's clean and efficient to get around in. Some of the downtown stations are really old and crappy looking and can be dark, but other then that, rock! The Brookline T trains seem to have their cash boxes fill up a lot so you can sometimes get a free ride downtown! Also, when you do have to pay, it seems the drivers prefer change rather then dollars be put into their boxes....supposedly the drivers can get annoyed if you try to pay with a dollar and quarter...but screw it, it's money and they can shove it .... WOOO! T! WOOO!

T / subway: Best way to get around the city!
The T which is what the subway in Boston is called, is the best way to get around. Driving is just a headache and there is virtually no parking. You can get anywhere within Boston and some surrounding areas on it. Plus its very clean. It was my first time on a subway and I was impressed.

T / subway: Obviously driving in Boston is...
Obviously driving in Boston is a little crazy, unless you know how to do it, and have a lot of money. Boston is one of the most expensive cities in terms of parking fees. Garages are insane and parking is, needless to say, limited. The commuter rail comes in from most points north (N. Station) and lots of points south (S. Station). Also, Greyhound and Peter Pan buses operate into S. Station. From there, the T and walking is the best way to go. Cabs are average I guess...but aren't they all so expensive? The MBTA (only really known as the T) is really easy to figure out. There are maps posted at all stops and booths open for advice. All you have to do is use a little common sense. They raised the price (from $.85-$1) for both the train and the bus (now $.75) so you might want to buy a pass if you're going to be getting on and off a lot. All passes can be bought at the major stations: Park Street, Downtown Crossing, South Station, etc.

T / subway: The best way to get to Boston,...
The best way to get to Boston, is to fly. Once you get here, the best ways to move throughout the city, are to take the subway, known as the 'T' and to walk. The 'T' will take you just about anywhere you want to go in the city, and walking allows for a more scenic route.
