The Yankee Candle Factory Store carries every type of candle in all varities of fragrance and size. The store also has a large selection of housewares and Christmas items for the home. Liz and I love candles and Yankee Candle makes some incredible scents that we love. Whenever we visit the shop we always leave with at leat four candles if not more.
The Store also carries some specialty candles that are only available here; so stock up if you like the particular fragrance. My wife recently found a specialty candle in the Germany Christmas section called Edelweiss that she loves; we stocked up on a few to last us until our next visit.
What to buy: Candles of course. Our last visit in the usmmer of 2012 we left with a Harvest, Sweet Strawberry, Edelweiss and an Ocean Walk large jar candle. Harvest is a favorite of Liz's and gives a yummy cinnamon scent to the house. Sweet Strawberry is so good you want to eat Strawberry Shortcake after one whiff of the candle. The Ocean Walk candle reminds of us of all our fun beach destinations and is a favorite to burn in our bedroom. The Edelwiss candle is a specialty fragrance that is sold only here so my wife had to stock up on this new favorite.
What to pay: The large jar candles were $18, the car freshner was $5 (pk of three) and the electric freshner was $12 (pk of two).

Popcornopolis is a chain that sells assorted types of flavored popcorn, candies and caramel apples. They have a kiosk at the Yankee Candle Factory here in Deerfield. My wife is familiar with their products and usually orders their jumbo tins of popcorn for her Dad. Their popcorn varieties are quite extensive with something for the sweet lover, salt lover and cheese lover.
Popcorn though was not what we were interested in....their caramel apples had caught our eye.
My wife and I decide to buy a caramel apple that was covered in marchmellows and swirled with chocolate and caramel sauce on top. We were staying locally and thought this would make a good snack later on in the hotel. The apple was very large and reasonably prived at $4.50. It proved to be too much for two to share later; we barely finished half of the apple. The caramel was very thick and the marshmellows were so sweet that we were done after a few small slices. Definitely good but too much sugar.
