  • Just Gorgeous Stuff!

We took a drive over to Scargo Pottery to check out there wares. As we drove in we could see all the castles, displayed on the grounds. Although there are other items also displayed on the grounds, the castles are what dominate and definitely what capture your interest.

  • Follow the Tracks

A lot of people ride their bikes on the Cape Cod Rail Trail every year, but not many see this section of the old tracks, a bit past the eastern end of the trail. Great place to walk.See if you can find the rusty but functional railroad switch. You can operate it with impunity, as trains no longer use this track.

  • Lobstah Rolls!

We headed to the Sesuit Harbor Cafe to try their famous lobster rolls. It couldn't have been a nicer little excursion. The setting was gorgeous, the food was yummy, and the weather was clear and sunny. I believe we were lucky enough to hit the place on the last weekend that it was open for the season. That just made it all the more special!

this is the last thing you see at the rotary before going over the borne bridge to enter the cape. Cape cod is full of these odd landmarks off the road at any given time.

Scout: All sorts of fabulous things!

by garridogal Updated Oct 15, 2014

This store is jam packed with goodies and customers. They have a lot of vintage and Paris-themed items. However you can also find really nice candles and jewelry.

What to buy: I bought a gorgeous jade bangle that I can't wait to wear!

Favorite thing: when driving around take note of all the 'neat' things you see off the road. This was a restaurant. The main roads are littered with windmills, buoys, boats, nets, and anything else to do with the sea.
