    La Dalat and Schooner's and...

La Dalat and Schooner's and Saporito's Florence Club Cafe
La Dalat has an upscale feel without the uptight. The sushi is always fresh and delectable at reasonable prices. Other menu items like shumai dumplings or salmon pepperpot or crispy sesame beef are also delicious.
Schooner's is the over-40 favorite watering hole, but we go there again and again for the best bowl of chowder we've ever tasted (we've searched far and wide!). The waitstaff makes you feel like their family, but if you don't smoke, you might choke here.
Saporito's is a FIVE star Italian gem! You can't believe it until you go there--people come from all around for the delectable cuisine.

Favorite Dish: Hamachi Sashimi and Award-winning Clam Chowder and ANYTHING from Saporito's

    Jake's: Fresh Seafood

Jake's has been around for years. It is Seasonal, so they are closed through the Winters. The food is sometimes great, sometimes average, but when they get it right it is a treat. But the view is fantastic.

    Favorite Dish: Clams

Jake's Seafood Restaurant & Market: Fresh seafood with lovely harborside view

by garridogal Updated Apr 4, 2011

Jake's is a typical seafood restaurant by the beach. It has a fun, casual and familiar feel to it. We were seated almost immediately on a busy Saturday night and lucked out by getting a table on the patio which was open to a beautiful sunset on the inner harbor.

The service was great, the food was fresh and we had a really good meal here.

Favorite Dish: I had the Cajun grilled Tilapia which although, good, was a bit too salty due to the spices that were rubbed on. However, it was tasty and the next time, I'd go for the light Cajun preparation. Others at the table had the seafood casserole and fried platter and I'm told that they were both good.

overlooking Hull harbor, seasonal. gets busy on weekend nights- but worth the wait.

Favorite Dish: If it's cold, the lobster bisque in a bread bowl with caesar salad is perfect. In the summer, try the lobster (of course!) or the seared tuna steak.
