Things to Do

Low-Fat Ice Cream at DQ!

Low-Fat Ice Cream at DQ!, Middleboro

Phildagr8 Says:  Hey, they've got more than just ice cream. Dairy Queen ("DQ") is known for their burgers and other miscellaneous items, but they're well known for their Blizzards, their frozen non-fat yogurt with pieces of candy blended into it.They've got great tasting low-fat frozen...

Get Home-made Ice Cream at Peaceful Meadows

Get Home-made Ice Cream at Peaceful Meadows, Middleboro

Phildagr8 Says:  This place has amazing home-made ice cream. People drive miles from towns away to come here for this ice cream. And you can taste the difference....Ok, so it's not fat-free... Live it up and enjoy yourself just this once. Try a couple flavors and you'll love it. It's better...

The Tuscan House: Basic Italian food for a good deal

The Tuscan House: Basic Italian food for a good deal, Middleboro

Phildagr8 Says:  Located on Rt 28 south of Rt 105 by ~1/2 mile, The Tuscan House is an Italian restaurant with good prices and decent service. The food doesn't taste like it's from The Olive Garden or any other "chain" Italian restaurant, if you know what I mean. It's better than that! The...

Burger King: Healthy Fast Food

Burger King: Healthy Fast Food, Middleboro

Phildagr8 Says:  Do you know that the meat patties that go into all of BK's sandwiches are broiled, and this allows the saturated fat to drip out. This makes your burger a LOT healthier than burgers you get elsewhere! At other places, the meat patty sits on a hot, flat metal surface, and the...

Fireside Grill & Spirits: Great Grill place

Fireside Grill & Spirits: Great Grill place, Middleboro

Phildagr8 Says:  This place has something for everyone. In fact, most people who come here usually leave with left-overs and about half of them are overweight. Good dinners, great all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, and plenty of seating, for a price that isn't that expensive. They have a good...

Friendly's: Need an ice cream dessert? Come here!

Friendly's: Need an ice cream dessert? Come here!, Middleboro

Phildagr8 Says:  This place has a decent lunch and dinner menu, and LOTS of dessert possibilities!!If you're coming from the Cape, it's a great place to stop and get ice cream.. There's no drive thru, but I'm sure it will help keep the kids quiet in the car for a while... until the sugar...

Lorenzo's: Cheap Italian Home-style

Lorenzo's: Cheap Italian Home-style, Middleboro

Phildagr8 Says:  This place always has a full parking lot, which to me is a sign of a good eating establishment. The dinner prices are fabulous, the variety on the menu is terrific, the service is very good, the environment is nice, and overall, I'd go back. It is a family business and it...

Dave's Diner: The Best Diner in Town!

Dave's Diner: The Best Diner in Town!, Middleboro

Phildagr8 Says:  This place is the "stereotypical" diner, as it has the 50's appearance with the chromed metal both outside and inside. The parking lot is huge and it's usually packed. I went there for breakfast, and the line was to the door! I waited about 20 minutes to finally get seated,...

Fast Food Places in Middleboro: Addicted to Fast Food? Here are your choices

Fast Food Places in Middleboro: Addicted to Fast Food? Here are your choices, Middleboro

Phildagr8 Says:  In the mood for fast food but not sure what you want? I'll mention them as if you were getting off I-495 and head north on Rt.105. I won't reference all the pizza places, as I define fast food to be either a place you can get a hamburger or some other fried food place. First...

Poppa Timmy's Pizza & Subs: Best Pizza in Town!

Poppa Timmy's Pizza & Subs: Best Pizza in Town!, Middleboro

Phildagr8 Says:  Very good pizza here! It beats Domino's, and the prices are very good, too! If your a resident of the town, you'll get a mailer monthly with a set of coupons, and you can get 2 small 1 topping pizzas for $10. They have other good pizza deals, too, but they usually involve a...

When you enter, go towards the left and you'll reach the bar. They have a great bar, and there's always somewhat of a crowd there. They've got TV's there and a lot goes on.

If you go there and decide to eat dinner, you can always eat dinner there, too!

Dress Code: Casual and up, but definitely not semi-formal.

Getting To & From the Post Office
Phildagr8 profile photo
Phildagr8 140 reviews

When you're going to the Post Office from the highway, you can turn left BEFORE the light, go to the end of the street, make a right turn and the parking lot is "right there" on your right. This way is a lot less congested (fewer cars parked on the street & less people crossing) and faster.

Alternatively, you can make the left turn at the light, but you have to go slow and left turn it to get to the street to where the post office parking lot is anyway.

Shopping

Benny's: Need an all purpose store? Here's one...

Phildagr8 140 reviews

This store has almost everything. From hardware, to regular auto parts like windshield wipers, oil and filters, to paint supplies, garden supplies, barbeque supplies, toiletries, tape, toys, gum, and miscellaneous crap that'll make you wonder just how fast a couple hours can fly by.. This is the place to wonder!

This place is across the street from the Post Office in Middleboro, next to the Sovereign Bank.

What to buy: You can buy almost any miscellaneous item you can think of. A good place to just look, and you might find a good price on something, almost guaranteed when you go in.

What to pay: 10-20 bucks for whatever.. Know your prices.
