The next time we went to the park we decided to try something else and rented a surf bike. It looks cool but it's very unstable. A second person can ride on the back but shouldn't move much. Making turns was also a bit risky. Well, in the end we both had a swim in the lake which was rather warm. At one point while Yasser was riding I swam unnoticed and turned the bike over, he felt in the water together with his sunglasses. it was so muddy and with the waves we couldn't find them, revenge for my joke.
Still, it's nice to try something different.

There were several picnic areas but we prefered a quiet place at the lake. It turned out not that quiet : after we took out our food two curious birds came to check our menu. We had brought a lobster and since we couldn't eat it all we offered some to them. There was no hot butter to go with but they appreciated it nevertheless. We thought that the birds were ducks, but as member BwanaBrown pointed out, they were Canadian Geese.

At one of the lakes (I think the larges one) you can rent cones, kayaks, surf bikes, catamarans, etc. and the prices are very reasonable. We rented a doble kayak and managed to go around the lake for half an hour. I think there were people fishing on the other side.

You can go camping or have a nice day out in Nickerson State Park, Cape Cod. ou park you car at the entrance (free parking) whhere there is an information board. In the park you are allowed to walk or...
