Marlene gathered us up for another party with the adults when we were finished with the tailgating party.
The adults had some interesting costumes as well.
One was a prisoner... while another was Cramer. Another couple dressed as Mr & Mrs Green. Seems everyone is engaged in recycling nowadays.
There is no end to the silliness of Halloween.
I was in Osterville over the Halloween weekend and my friend, Marlene had agreed to participate in her church's Halloween "bash". Families decorated the trunk of their car or the back of their vans & trucks... dressed in costume... and gathered in the church parking lot. Everyone parked with their trunks open to the center of the aisle and passed out treats in their costumes and the little ones went up and down the rows enjoying the sparkle, dazzle, and gore.
Some folks brought their caged chickens and bunny which the little ones enjoyed...one neighbor brought her two goats on a leash!
Decorations were fun and imaginative. Some people had lights and music to jazz up their decorations. Tinsel dangled gaily... witches wandered and my friend Marlene dressed in black w/ red eyes that lit up (battery powered) as she waved her hatchet at the passers by. The kids were not even phased by her antics and soon there was a sword fight underway. ha ha
They all had a great time.
