    Whale Watching

There are a number of places where you can take whale watching tours, but Provincetown, being right on the tip of Cape Cod gets you to the whales the soonest. If I remember correctly, we went with Dolphin Fleet. An excellent crew and a great guide allowed us to get very close to a number of humpback whales and we learned a lot about them.

    People Watching

by garridogal Written Jul 8, 2014

P-Town is one of the best people-watching places you'll find. You can just park yourself on Commercial Street and watch the action.

All sorts of stuff going on... Walking the walk Hey, that's not a person!

There are many lighthouses on Cape Cod. I had time to visit only one. Just because of the view it was already pleasure to be there. So much air and ocean around...

This is on the actual spot where the Pilgrims landed. It's not as popular as the monument though. There's a little square there.

    View from the Tower

Here is one of the wonderful views from the top of the tower. With the small church in the foreground Provincetown gives the deception of being just a sleepy little New England village.

No trip to the beach is complete without walking along the waterline collecting shells and beach-glass.
