Boat landing and park on Woerd Street

I'm often on the street for work and have recently made time to "stop and smell the flowers", or in the case, take pictures. I was amazed by how beautiful this area is, and lost any feeling that I was still in Waltham. The Charles River is beautiful here, and you can truly enjoy it as it's out of the way and very quiet. Looking forward to coming down here some day when I'm not working.

Prospect Hill Park's Amazing View of Boston

    by fdrich29 Written Sep 8, 2006

Prospect Hill Park, a former ski resort in Waltham, Massachusetts is a great getaway from city life. Access the park from Totten Pond Road (which is the name of the exit off 95/128). There are plenty of spots for cookouts, hiking and picnicing. At the top of Prospect Hill, by the observation tower is a spot that offers an incredible view that spans the area from Saugus, through Boston, all the way to Quincy. Few spots can claim such a spectacular view of Boston. Well worth exploring on a sunny, Fall weekend.
