Busy old fashioned diner with very large menu.
Favorite Dish: I have only stopped in here once for dinner. Everyone in our party of 4 selected a different entree and all were satisfied.
Returned several months later for breakfast. Be prepared to hang out outside until a table is ready. They serve a very hardy and filling breakfast.

I have been teaching a class that runs for four straight days, every month, for the past four years and at the completion of the each week my co-instructor and I have gone to the Half Way for beer and Cafe Wings. The Half Way Cafe, which also has locations elsewhere in Massachusetts, offers a great selection of chicken, beef, seafood and salads. The restaurant is family friendly and laid back even though it is as much a bar as a restaurant. The Cafe Wings with their highly addictive Cafe sauce are enough to haunt you in your sleep, they call to you and you can not deny yourself. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu (I have personally not tried any of their seafood, but I have a thing about not ordering seafood in a town that doesn't sit on the ocean...spoiled from growing up in Gloucester).
Favorite Dish: Double order of boneless Cafe Wings with a seasonal Sam Adams brew and good company. Doesn't get much better.
