Airplane, Car, Bus or Boat. Only two roads into town ... Both are Route 145 ... one entering from East Boston and the other exits from Revere. (unless you're coming IN that way)
They're talking about a Ferry from Deer Island to Boston here someday.
We do have buses that run on a regular and reliable schedule. It's also a small town in size and you can walk just about anywhere.
Here's the traffic in our backyard ... since we're right next to Logan Airport, that's an airplane coming in for a landing. It's flying in over the Winthrop Yacht Club.

Just a little spot in town of local shops of all kinds; Bakery, banks, drugstore, liquer store, dollar store, little takeout restaurants, medical, dentists, beauty shops, shoe store & groceries. A little of everything within a small area of streets! Just like a "Square"!
With a little park right in the middle.
Small but very nice!
What to buy: Everyday items.

Luggage and bags: This is New England and has a variety of weather and more than one event can happen in one day. Since we're on the coast, count on a 10 degree difference (lower) and we're usually warmer than inland. But do remember, in Winter we still get snow and cold weather like the rest of the State and New England, only not as much.
Pack accordingly!
Oh, in case you don't know (and not everyone does) the New England States consist of the top eastern corner portion of the United States: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. And there you have it!
