My family has been meeting at this place for nearly 40 years (and that's BEFORE I was born..... : p' ) Charlies is your typical tavern-in-an-old-building kind of place. There's the bar along the left side as you enter, and a few 2-tops squeezed between the pinball machines by the door and the video game at the other end of the bar. Once you get past the bar you've entered the "dining room" area complete with a number of booths and tables and a big TV in the corner. The decor is not going to wow anybody, but that's not what you're here for.

Favorite Dish: Pizza, and lots of it! Charlies serves delicious to-the-edge pizza, and as far as I know that's the only way it's ever been. It's piled high with cheese and the pepperoni is towards the spicy side, just the way we like it. With this much cheese, the pizza is best when you ask for them to prepare it "well done." (You don't often think of that expression with respect to pizza, but trust me.)

Charlies also offers your typical bar fare of burgers, chips&cheese, etc. But what do you care? You're here for the pizza!
