To get there you must get to Detroit by air. or train is you like.

For those who don't have a car, it's easy to visit Ann Arbor by train or bus. Ann Arbor also makes a nice day trip from Detroit since it's only about one hour west of Detroit by car.
Ann Arbor has such a good public bus system that it's not necessary for visitors to have a car. Bein that this is a university town, there are also lots of students dashing off to class on their bicycles. Leave a Comment Theme: Bicycle

There are shuttles from the airport or taxis all over the place.
There are University of Michigan buses but the best way is to walk. Due to one-way streets and limited parking walking is your best bet. Leave a Comment Theme: Other
