BobD Says:  Eating in the wild creates a more relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy your dinning experience. This group of campers demonstrate the skill of noodle removal after swallowing. I prefer my noodles go the other direction.

BobD Says:  My favorite place to eat in the UP is outside. A nice day when the bugs arn't an issue is the best way to enjoy fine dinning. If you are lucky you may meet some fishermen with a little extra to share. Fresh lake trout with corn on the cob can't be beat.

The best way to see the Upper Penisula is by car, bike, or by water if you care to travel on Lake Superior. There is an excelent water trail for kayaks as well as camping along the way. In the winter the best way around is by snow shoe. Also there are a variety of cross country ski trails.
