Favorite thing: Located along highway 41 in the main section of Copper Harbor you will see the Visitor Center building. This is a good place to stop in if this is your first time in Copper Harbor. You will find a small exhibit, and many information pamphlets you may take for free. The individual working in the center will be glad to any questions you have that will help you enjoy your stay. My second photo is a view of Copper Harbor, as seen across the harbor from the Hunter’s Point Trail

Favorite thing: Visit Fort Wilkins and take the lighthouse tour. If you like shopping, stroll around town and look in some of the gift shops that catch your fancy.
Fondest memory: Laying at anchor and enjoying a beautiful deep pink Copper Harbor sunset that painted the water as well as the deck of the boat pink. Visiting the fort and lighthouse museum, eating and eating and eating at the Harbor Haus. Exploring the shore of Lake Superior from the Hunter's Point Trail that comes off the marina parking lot.

We flew into Houghton-Hancock Airport from Minneapolis. Snowed every day we were there. Snowmobiling was good. Met lots of people from midwest USA. Stayed in cabin at Fanny Hooe (rhymes with Oh!)
