I am not quite sure how to categorize the cuisine of Mongolian BBQ other than excellent! It combines asian stir fry, italian pasta, and spanish tortillas for one interestingly appetizing meal!
Each patron is given a small porcelain mixing bowl. You then make your way through a buffet type line filling your bowl with fresh meats and seafood, vegetables, spices, sauces and pastas. At the end of the buffet is a large round skillet type surface, about 8 feet in diameter with 6-8 chefs around it, singing, chanting and joking with customers. These chefs cook your food right there to your specifications!
After your food is prepared, and make way back to your table, the waiter will bring hot rice and tortillas. You then fill a tortilla with rice, and your freshly prepared stir fry! Provided you have a light knowledge of sauces and spices, this can be one of the best meals you have ever had, just be sure not to over do it with the cayanne pepper or onion!
Beer and wines, and mixed drinks are also available.
I like to combine beef with broccoli, mushrooms, spiral pasta, a few onions, a tad garlic, cracked black pepper, soy sauce, a tad sesame oil, and various spices. Cheli's is owned by the Detroit Red Wings' very own Chris Chelios, in the heart of downtown west Dearborn. TV's, hockey paraphenalia, and photos and jerseys from Chris Chelios' hockey career adorn the walls of this two-room restaurant/bar. There is a rooftop patio that becomes very populer during happy hour. Cheli's also has a gift shop where they sell souvenirs as well as frozen Cheli's Chili.
Cheli's is tavern fare, most popular for it's chili dishes. You can order chili in different styles with different toppings, either in a bowl or a cup. Potato skins are huge, in a dish of 4 and you can make a meal of the nachos, they're so plentiful! Ciao is a lovely Italian restaurant with a great decor. It is a bit pricey from what I understand, but well worth it.

This is actually a sushi bar, however you may get additional dishes as well. Very pricey but well worth it, the food, staff, service, cocktails, decor and music are a wonderful experience. I went for my birthday this year and enjoyed every minute of it.
I love the Atlantic Sake (salmon), it's grilled in a teriyaki sauce and garnished with rice and asparagus. The rangoon appetizers are great as well and you MUST try one of their many flavored martinis. Any possible type of salad you could imagine is served here, in great portions that you most likely will be taking home in a doggy bag!
Believe it or not, the Taco Salad is my favorite! This is more of a middle eastern type restaurant, but the cooks and staff are very talented in multiple types of cuisine! Try whatever you can, and you will NOT be disappointed! Bangkok Star offers authentic Thai food, some of the best I have ever had. I would best describe Thai as similar to Chinese with a hot and spicy twist! While the menu states the cuisine is available in mild, medium and hot, it would better be described as hot, hotter and hottest! If you do not like asian food or spicy food, this is not the place for you.
No reservation is needed. Casual attire.
I enjoy combo #15, Beef and Broccoli ordered medium spice. It is similar to Chop Suey, but "kicked up a notch". Served with rice. My dad recommends Colonel Tso's Chicken Hot (By hot, I mean nearly impossible to choke down!)
