You have many places to choose from in Greektown. For pizza, there's Pizza Papalis. For Greek, there's Hellas, Parthenon or the Acropolis. You can try the Blue Nile for Ethiopian, Fishbones for Cajun, or many of the casino restaurants and taverns for American or Bar Fare.
Favorite Dish: Greektown holds something special for everybody's taste in cuisine. It's hard to recommend a favorite dish since there are so many different places to choose from. I do hold Pizza Paplis and Fishbones at the top of my list!

Greektown is one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city a vibrant strip of neon signs street musicians and the smell of fresh food. But this Town is catered towards tourists, so there are “Greek” shops with nice little trinkets. A am not one for foreign food but I love the lamb and rice but I also have never tried any thing that I did not like, save the squid. When you are there, don’t worry about Detroit’s infamous crime there are two cops on every corner. They will also help you for non-emergencies if you ask and they are not out nabbing that darn litterbug. Oh yea the greektown casino is there to you can’t miss it takes up half a block and the People Mover (DMP) stops there. All in all I give greektown two thumbs up.

I don't remember where we ate, but it was really good. I think you really can't go wrong if you just use your judgement when in Greektown.
