This is a great place to see a more natural view of Lake Michigan. Sure, Grand Haven State Park is the place to go for people watching, but Rosy Mound is a nice quiet retreat. It's got over a mile of trails and is only a few miles south of G.H. on Lakeshore Drive.

Coast Guard Capitol of the USA!

This is a lovely Lake Michigan town which is known for festivals, power boat races and lots of fun in the sun.

I visited Grand Haven during a business trip to Fremont. It was cold, snowing and getting dark so I did not see all that much. There is a nice park by the Lake beach and the downtown area seams nice....

We had a 60+ peson family reunion here in 1997, had a great time! My grandfather used to own a vacation lodge at Spring Lake and our family used to go there for weekend get togethers. Good memories.
