A mexican food with really good mexican food. They have some pretty good margaritta's as well. The best part of this place is the three singers who saranede you through dinner.
I've been there once and my freinds adore Little Mexico.
Favorite Dish: I really liked the El Presidente.
Charlies Crab Shack located on the river downtown.
Bob's is also a famous place to eat, dance and party..
located downtown also.
Favorite Dish: The Beltline Bar located on 28th St and Division has great wet burritos. I recently had dinner with Parrothead there.
Charlies Crab shack has great seafood and steaks. Fabulous meals and service.
What are you in the mood for tonight? The Bistro Bella-Vita downtown is an italian favorite. Or for Spanish appetizers as a meal, visit the San-Chez. Many local pubs also offer a varied menu selection. Don't forget the classy 1913 Room in the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, or Charlies Crab on the river. Dubas for fine dining near the Meijer Gardens.
The patrons of most restaurants in GR wear dressy casual attire. You will want to look good for the 1913 Room, Charlies Crab and Dubas.
I've been to a couple of the locations and they each have different atmospheres. The Leonard St. locaion has a personal feel while the Comstock Park locaiton is definately a sports bar.
I really like the Comstock Park location because they have numerous big screen tv's and are willing to show just about every game. The place is usually packed full of out-of-towners trying to watch their home teams play. I've spent many Sundays watching the Minnesota Vikings there.
Favorite Dish: Their pizza is some of the best I've had. I crave it every so often and miss it when I'm on the road. The pizza is a regular hand tossed type of crust, and doesn't look spectacular, but they have just the right combination of ingredients
Yesterdog was featured in the movie American Pie and is a local favorite, especially with the college crowd. It's a rustic looking place, with the walls covered in pictures of people wearing the Yesterdog t-shirt in distant lands.
You also tip the help by whipping change into a tuba behind the counter.
Favorite Dish: Obviously the chili dogs.
On weekends they open the dancefloor to a dj, and on weeknights you can enjoy kariokee.
Probably the best feature is the deck in the summer.
Favorite Dish: Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta -> It's a huge helping of pasta, olive oil, veggies, and just the right amount of cajun flavoring
Burritos -> Saying the burritos are huge is an understatement. Good price too.
Me personally? My favorite restaurant in town is Outback Steakhouse. But that's just me. I know it's an Australian restaurant, but I still like it. A lot.
Just the atmosphere of the place is good in quality. The service is good, too,
Favorite Dish: I don't have a favorite menu item. They're all pretty good. Especially the chicken/poultry by-products.
One of my favorites is the Cygnus atop the Grand Plaza hotel. Rembrandt's in the Bridgewater Center is also very nice.
Since it's on the top of the tallest building downtown, the 360 degree view is magnificent.
Favorite Dish: I loved the Walleye Pike coated in hazelnuts.
Casual, Friendly, Elegant
Favorite Dish: The Thai Chicken salad is AWESOME. Can easly be split. The corn muffins are good to. Happy hour every day.
