Pond Hill Farms: Farm fresh produce!
You should totally check out this place if you're into farm fresh produce with a touch of the personal. The store front is located on the farm just a little ways outside of Harbor Springs. The drive there is pleasant anyhow. They sell excellent fresh fruits and veggies, I love their glass bottles of milk, and they also have cheeses, fresh eggs and the like. Kids will enjoy the chance to see their animals, if you come in the spring you'll likely see babies! The farm owners and shop employees are always extremely kind. Good country people, with honest souls.
What to buy: milk in old fashioned glass bottles
What to pay: Its not super expensive, but not a bargain either. Expect to pay a medium price. The food is all worth every penny, and the farm experience is worth something.

Kilwin's Chocolates: Fudge
Go into Kilwin's Chocolates. They serve up a super great ice cream cone and they also have killer fudge. They give free samples. If you walk in, you'll be offered one. It's also fun to stand and watch them make the fudge on the marble tables by the windows. I used to work here. Oh...they have great lemonade too! Made fresh by the cup.
What to buy: fudge
What to pay: Everything is expensive in this town. Fudge is 10 a lb I think. But a pound is two boxes full, and you get a free box to go with it if you buy a pound.
