The Cowtown Cafe was started by two of Vic's former Tri-County students. Rustic decor and an impressive art gallery in the back.
Its location in a lumber-era building, and its being one of few businesses in this tiny town make it special.
Favorite Dish: Any sandwich on the menu.

But the fondest memory has to be when we actually lived in Lakeview, but our car broke down on M46 on Christmas Eve when Amanda was only three months old. We were twelve miles from home in a blizzard. Some kind people who were on their way to a midnight Christmas Eve service at the Lutheran Church picked us up and took us to our little rented house. The next day, Vic's father arrived, with chains on his tires that sounded like sleighbells! Our baby slept in a dresser drawer resting on two chairs, and we felt a little bit what it must have been like to be Mary and Joseph.
