On Mackinac, operating your bicycle while drunk is a serious offense. Police officers WILL "pull you over" and may take legal action, so be careful. If in doubt, walk to and from your hotel if you're going to hit the town.
Resting on the roof of the Grand Hotel is a two floor piano bar. Hanging from the ceiling and seen from both floors is an itricate glass and crystal chandelier. The view of the Straits of Mackinac on a clear, starry, moon lit night is spectacular.
Dress Code: Formal. Men must be in jacket and ite, ladies in dresses or gowns.
The Mustang is clearly a locals joint but it is still a great place for a greasy burger. One night we went in and asked what was new. 'Michelob in a can,' was the reply. Classic graffiti etched in the bathroom walls.

"Euro" Garden Cafe? I don't know exactly how "European" this place is, but it's certainly pleasant to sit out on the patio on a pleasant day. At the Mission Point Inn, the eastern end of the island.
