This is the longest suspension bridge over freshwater. It's 5 miles long, and you can see 2 of the Great Lakes on both sides- Lake Huron on the East, and Lake Michigan on the West.
Mackinac Island State Park
The shoreline of the island is quite beautiful. Great views like Arch Rock which is pictured here are plentiful.
Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse
There are 18 lighthouses in a 20 mile radius here! That's the highest concentration of lighthouses in the country.
Originally this fort was built during the American Revolution by British troops. Today it's a great historical landmark.
This outpost dates to 1715, which by US standards is incredibly old. It was an old French outpost.
