Dedicated to Anishinabe Culture, the ZIIBIWING CENTER is located south of the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort. The center includes exhibits, research center, meeting & conference facilities, cafe' and gift shop.
More than 500 rare artifacts are contained in the Center which was created to enlighten and educate all communities in the rich culture, heritage and history of the Anishinabe people of the Great Lakes.

Ziibiwing Center is wheelchair accessible.

Since I was only at the Soaring Eagle Casino on a Monday night, I don't know what special buffets may be on offer other nights of the week! I do know, however, that if I go again, it will be on a Monday night! They have the biggest sea food buffet I have ever seen in my life! I never knew there could be so many crab-legs in one place at one time! Where do they get them, I asked myself???? All I can say is that the $20.00 cost was well worth it!

The beauty of nature can also be observed with a trip dwon the MIGHTY CHIPPEWA RIVER. Whether by canoe, kayak or tube, the Chippewa River winds its way through Isabell County offering a year-round opportunity to view wildlife, do a little fishing or just relax while the river carries you away.

Located in the south end of Island Park, is Mount Pleasant's SKATE BOARD PARK. This 17,000 square foot skate park, with ramps and jumps, is designed for bikers, skate boarders and incline skaters of all ages and skill levels. With two half pipes, a variety of quarter pipes, fun boxes, bank ramps, grind boxes and a pyramid with integrated rails.
