Helpfulness
Being an artist myself, I was really impressed with the way the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort has decorated the interior space with authentic Native Indian pieces from local artists. I was especially impressed with the art by an artist named Daniel Ramirez, who has two wonderful paintings displayed in the main lobby of the hotel.
Have a walk through the hotel and don't forget to go up the circular stairway to the second level, where even more art work is displayed. You don't have to be a guest in the hotel to look at the art work. There is also a shop in the hotel where you can purchase local hand made pieces of art made by local Native Indians.

Do NOT play craps at Soaring Eagle. Every craps player and dealer in Vegas, Detroit etc KNOWS that the dice must be lying completely flat on one side or it is a misthrow. Well, everyone but these jokers up here. They called a CRAP when the dice was at an appx 35 degree angle and rested on player's chips... Needless to say, there were SEVERAL VERY ANGRY players whom left the casino right then and there... We were 2 of them...

Mt. Pleasant may be a rural Mid-American college town, where not much seems to be happening except the casino for the big kids...but, hey all you kids over in Athens, Greece...you don't have a skateboard park like the one they have in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan!
Every town should have the open-minded creativity that enable them to create a healthy and safe environment for the kids to practice their skateboarding skills! Go For It! If I were 20 years younger, I wouldn't hesitate to try this fun-looking sport! Just don't forget to wear your protective gear:):)
