    The Mixx: Clubbin'

by LaurenAnita Updated Aug 8, 2010

If you are looking for dancing there is no beating the Mixx! Its got a reputation as a "gay club", but a lot of straight people go too. Its ten dollars at the door (don't forget your ID)- they have a bar, a decent sized dance floor, usually good music- a stage- and in the room to the side you have a bigger bar and a pool table. Never had a problem coming here, some crazy things have happened though, lol. They have some TVs hooked up that play music videos and stuff while you dance. They even do karaoke! Fun-o!

Dress Code: No dress code that I know. You can even strip! Lots of people do it! It's fun! Weee! Saw some people do it the other night, like 3 people all at once on top of eachother! Woohoo! :D!

Dress Code: Casual, except for Jake's. Dress up a tad more. A polo shirt would be fine, baggy sweats around your gangsta butt would not.

Watch the calendar at http://oldtownsaginaw.com/. Go on the Martini March or Wine Walk or Beers Around the World - $20/$25 per ticket. Many other events including car and tattoo and art shows. Buy a ticket in the 100 block of S. Hamilton. Then walk or take the shuttle to the bars in the area. Your ticket also entitles you to the free eats each bar offers, as well. You will meet a lot of fun people!
