Holy Land Deli: One stop Middle Eastern Food place

by Faracy Written Jul 25, 2004

I love this place! You can get any kind of pita sandwich as well as kebabs, rice, and many other things.. tahina humous.. everything.
Its also a grocery store with the most Middle Eastern products anywhere in the Twin Cities. You can also buy books, and cooking utencils.

Favorite Dish: Falafel sandwich with a side of basmati rice.
    Its huge, and relatively cheap.

The Holy Land Deli: Best Gyros/Middle Eastern

by mnhaus Updated Jun 12, 2004

This is a great place for the typical middle eastern fare - gyros, falafel, hummus, baklava, et c. There isn't a place in town that makes them better. It's done a lot of growing over the past few years and now the restaurant/market occupies 2 spaces in the row of buildings on the block. The market side has an excellent selection of olives, cheeses, and halal meats for your cooking pleasure.

Favorite Dish: The beef & lamb gyros can't be beat, and the hummus is outstanding.

Holy Land Deli: Holy Land Deli

A Muslim deli, situated in NorthEast (or Nordeest as we like to call it) is well known in the Twin Cities Islamic community. Their food is delicious and the portions are huge. Along with fresh made pita bread, their selection of olives is great, not to mention the variety of clientele. They are currently remodeling the building next door, and will be expanding soon.

    Favorite Dish: Gyro
