Little Tijuana's is a punk restaurant, first and foremost. You can't even get a job there unless you have a minimum of twenty-four body piercings.

Besides the excellent worker-watching you can participate in, you can eat pretty decently for cheap too. Hard-core Mexican food fans won't be impressed by the Mexican fare, although I would still highly recommend the steak fajitas.

Otherwise, they have an assortment of excellent burgers (including a Brocolli Burger) and thick steak fries. They have a lot of vegetarian/vegan items on the menu as well.

They're open really late - 3:00 AM. It's a great place for real food in the late hours.

Favorite Dish: The steak fajitas are marinated in something delicious, I've no clue what it is - but it's good!

Little Tijuana's: Spice Up Your Life with this Mexican!

    by Diana_Rae Written Jul 25, 2003

Little Tijuana's has the best mexican food around! Not really the best place for the whole family, the waitstaff follows a punk/rocker theme, the crowd is usually college age people, and the building is pretty small, old, and dark. No matter, while you're there, you get great service, a paper tablecloth to draw on (if you're lucky, they'll hang your drawing on the wall behind the register), and heaping portions.

Favorite Dish: I love the burritos, because you can have them however you like. All the food has real spice to it, not that mild crap other "mexican" restaurants serve.
