Stella's in Uptown is best enjoyed during the warmer months, when you can dine upstairs, outside on the patio. They have the best view of downtown Minneapolis. Definitely a place to go for the atmosphere/view. I have been there once and had a po' boy. It was not that good. But, I would definitely be willing to give it another try with another dish. And, my friend has been here at night, and she tells me it's a great place to go for drinks.
Located in the Uptown area of Minneapolis, Stella's has a good-sized menu of seafood, ribs, salads, sandwiches and pastas and a high-energy ambiance. It also has one of the best summer patios around - high up on the roof with a bar, heaters for cool evenings and a terrific view of downtown. Entrees run over the $20 mark and pastas, sandwiches, etc. fall between $10 and $20. Tabs can vary widely depending on what you order, and the lunch menu is a little less pricey. If nothing else, catch a happy hour for a drink, and maybe an appetizer, on the roof - the bar and wait staff are friendly and fun. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
Favorite Dish: The patio! The food is good too.
