    Crowd Crazy

    by Diana_Rae Written Dec 24, 2005

When you go to the mall, you expect to pick up a few things for yourself, your kids, or your significant other. When you go to Mall of America and do this, you run into people in groups of matching outfits as not to get lost, people scanning through the crowd with their camcorders, and angry locals just trying to push through the massive throngs of people.

Unique Suggestions: Wait in line for Coldstone Creamery. You'll feel better after a little ice cream.

Fun Alternatives: There are plenty of other malls in the twin cities area. For those looking for a more upscale center, try Ridgedale Mall or Southdale Mall, both on the south side. If you like to keep a little more conservative, Rosedale Mall or Northtown Mall could provide a better shopping experience for you and are located a bit more centerally.

I'm sure many people have heard of the Mall of America - the largest indoor mall in the country. Yep - that's about it. All the stores you all have in your cities with the same merchandise you can get anywhere.

Unique Suggestions: The amusement park in the middle is possibly worth seeing, especially if you have kids (or are one at heart).
