Valleyfair is an amusement park at the far south end of the cities. While not as big as some, it is still very fun and enjoyable. Valleyfair has three large rollercoasters, a water amusement park, plenty of rides, and an Imax Theatre. Picnic grounds are onsite, and they welcome large groups. Every kid who grew up in the Twin Cities has great memories of this place. Check out www.valleyfair.com

Valley Fair is an amusement park I would avoid if you are not interested in high prices, boring rides, and long lines. I love amusement parks, but I would rather make the trek to the Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois (near Chicago)than pay to go to Valley Fair. I do like the Wild Thing rollercoaster and my daughter likes the Mild Thing (kiddie rollercoaster)but a lot of the rides are old and the attendants are always in a bad mood... If you think you just have to go, here is their website http://www.valleyfair.com/
