When we visited last year (July 2006) the restaurant hadn't been open terribly long, but that didn't hinder us from having a wonderful supper! Probably the most entertainment was watching the golfers maneuvering around the pond which we had a great view as the reataurant had large picture windows overlooking the course. The food is upscale but not at an excessive price. The staff were courteous and attentive without "hovering".

Favorite Dish: I, of course had the walleye, which is always my benchmark for Minnesota restaurants. It was cooked to perfection, and their home-made tartar sauce is quite delightful, as they had some other subtle flavorings in it besides the usual pickle, onion, mayo routine. Others in our group had scallops, and seafood Alfredo penne pasta. We were all quite happy! I suspect their breakfast and lunch selections are also good.

Favorite thing: As so many towns in Minnesota, many have outdoor sculptures representing the area. This is a reclining otter in Ottertail, MN, just north of highway 108.
