If taxi service is needed, call a taxi company and they will provide at-the-door pickup. City ordinances set a minimum charge of $3.50 for each taxi load. Cab services are required to charge $1.95 for the first eighth-of-a-mile and then $1.95 for each mile after that. Good luck trying to get a taxi at 1:15 am on New Years eve but besides that have had no problems.
