The church's interior is surprisingly beautiful with excellent stained-glass windows, an impressive ceiling and an immense pipe organ to wow you.
If you want to eat at a good restaurant, there are plenty to choose from in nearby Maple Grove (about 20 minutes away). You'll find Houlihan's, Famous Dave's, Don Pablo's, Joe's Crab Shack and others (all are well-known national chains).
My Aunt tells me that Russells is a good place right in town. She says the steaks are great, so give it a try and let me know!
Not much to do here! The Corner Bar is one of two bars that I noticed and my cousin tells me it's not too bad. He says it's always crowded on the weekends (with people and plenty of smoke).
Favorite thing: It will be impossible for you to miss the cathedral, but take the time to walk around it, through the cemetery and even inside. It's open almost all the time and there's no admission fee (this is not a tourist town). The details are impressive.
