Exhibits and artifacts relating the story of the seafood industry along the Mississippi Gulf Coast can be seen at the MARITIME & SEAFOOD INDUSTRY MUSEUM. Photographs, early boat engines, lighthouse lenses and a replica of a late 1800's oyster schooner.

This Museum was established in 1986, and it is meant to preserve and show the Maritime
History and Heritage of the Mississippi Gulf
Coast.There are many historic photographs and many old artifact .A large exhibit that has information about the Hurricanes that have hit the Gulf Coast. The times of visiting and the cost of entree are in the next tip.
The Museum also charters 2 65 ft two masted Biloxi Schooner,and the Schooners make 2 1/2 hours, half day or full day sails along the Biloxi Coastline, the full day sail to the barrier Island of Horn Island. The schooners are docked at Point Cadet Marina ,and you can walk on and sail , no appointment neccesary.
