by Rainbowlover

The best buffet is at Horseshoe. I vote the second best at the Grand Casino.Best dessert by far at Hollywood. If you just want a burger, the diner at Hollywood is great with old fashioned milk shakes.Go during the week and you can stay for $39 a night at Fitzgeralds. Weekends expect to pay $120 and up. We usually hit the buffets since we are big eaters.

There are many nice restaurants throughout Mississippi. In former days I would go for fried catfish, now I hit the buffets at the casinos. I love the Isle of Capri Casino Buffet, especially the one in Biloxi. Great seafood at a good price.

Aunt Jenny's Catfish RestaurantNestled on Ocean Springs Bayou, this quiet little out-of-the-way restaurant is a cozy cafe with old-world charm. The main dining area has a beautiful view of the bayou. All-you-care-to-eat fried chicken

Handy Andy's: Handy Andy's

by AldenM1

Yeah, Handy Andy's is a gas station. You might not like the ambiance if you're not into 7-11-style dining. So get the barbeque to go. Get some baked beans too, while you're at it. It's all about the barbeque. The only meat I miss in my current, vegetarian phase. :) Make sure you do it Deep South style -- on a bun with coleslaw (yes, on the sandwich). And none of this Texan beef barbeque nonsense.

I live on the coast, the best restaurant is Vrazel's in Gulfport(expensive) or Sea Market in Gautier (very inexpensive. At Vrazel's the fresh baked bread and house salad dressing to accompany any seafood entre'. At Sea Market the shrimp sandwich is unbeatable and $1.29!

I can't remember the actual name of the restaurant, but it was in Gulfport, a casino, with an all-you-can-eat-buffet. I tried the Gumbo (a great southern traditional dish). It was excellent. All of the food was great at the all-you-can-eat buffet.

by Kanary

We have an outstanding Sushi restaurant here in Jackson called Little Tokyo. I have been told that it is better than most, even in California! There are two locations. The one off of Frontage Road has a very friendly and engaging cook! Sit at the sushi bar if you get a chance. It is also adorned with the pictures of all the stars who have been there while filming movies in and around the Jackson area. Asparagus rolls - asparagus, almonds, hollandaise sauce
