the tate county courthouse was built in 1875. one of it's courtrooms was a filming location for the movie "people vs larry flynt". this interesting brick victorian building is listed on the national register of historic places. for those interested in victorian architecture the tate county courthouse is worth a look when in downtown senatobia.
