This place is for sure a tourist trap. However, it does have some really neat things here. We purchased some seashell wind chimes here, and they are really nice. A great place to go if you want to pick up a few things for your memories or for the kids. It also has a wide selection of all sorts of items from swimwear to home decor.
Elvis' Childhood Home in Tupelo is a fiendishly bad waste of effort. A creepy woman sits on the front porch, silent as the grave, until you produce the requisite $5. Then she stands up and leads you into the two room shotgun house. (Called a shotgun house because if you fired a shotgun through the front door, the ammo would fly out the back door.) She recites a monotone memorized speech about Elvis being born here. After a minute, she finishes and returns to her silent reverie. All in all, an odd experience. Plus, the house isn't very interesting, particularly not compared to Graceland.
Well when my friend and I were kinda driving around a bit to explore I noticed alot of the roads and highways weren't clearly marked, not like in other states I had been so I was easily lost.
well at the very end of the stretch Biloxi appears to be a little tiny town at the end after the 20 mile stretch of casino's, restaurants, hotels and malls.
