Just a few minutes away from Ashland is the Mark Twain National Forest. This forest is absolutely emmense, spanning a good chunk of mid-southern missouri. But the area near Ashland is a great little place with a few trails and some historic places left up along the way with a creek to follow if you like as well. You can bike, hike, camp, whatever. Very nice and not a much used area really.
This little restaurant is locally owned and operated by the high schoolers of the town. It's simple but fun, and at some point or another almost everyone in town goes there. The pizza is really good too!
Favorite Dish: Pizza - it's what they're known for. I'm a Supreme person myself. :)
