Skylink Says: If you go to Concordia, stop by Central Park, which is next to City Hall. In one corner of the park is the Statue of Liberty. It was dedicated in 1959 at the time the statue in New York had repairs on it's arm.
Skylink Says: One place is a motel next to Interstate 70. There is also a bed and breakfast on S. Main Street near (?)9th Street. It is at the corner and is on the same side (even house numbers) as the Lutheran Church and City Hall.
One can walk the entire length of Concordia.
Skylink Says: There is not too much traffic so the town does not have traffic lights. There are approximately 2 stop signs between the downtown area and the I-70 highway.
The town museum will not open until January, 2003
Skylink Says: There is a new museum on 6th Street, one block from S. Main Street (on the same side of the street as the Lutheran Church and City Hall, not on the side of the street of the Concordia Bank). However, the groundskeeper said it would not open until January, 2003.
