Ellington Travel Guide

I visited there and was amazed at how accessible this small community is to all the Major Natural Springs in Missouri. You have Big Springs in Van Buren(20 miles), Blue Springs(12 miles), Alley Springs in Eminence(28 miles), Round Spring outside Eminence(40 miles), and a beautiful little spring called Spout Spring at Centerville(15 miles). Of course a beautiful, small lake called Clearwater Lake, just 10 miles away was a wonderful place to spend the day picnicing and swimming. I spent very little money and had just a wonderful week of exploring the area. I recommend this wonderful retreat if you just need to get a way from home hustle and bustle and just plain relax.
