The Summers Bay Resort at Crown Pointe Lodge offered free tennis for the lodge residents and the condominium residents. Allan and I used the court once for about one and a half hours and really enjoyed the well maintained surface. Because the resort offered lighted courts, we could have played in the evenings if we wished. This court is located next to the lodge right next to the in-door pool. That is quite convenient because after a heated game, a dip in the pool was refreshing.
Equipment: We brought our own tennis rackets, tennis balls, tennis shoes, sun glasses, and hats.
The resort maintained the tennis court, and it was in excellent condition.

Crown Pointe Golf Club is located adjacent to Crown Pointe Links Lodge. Much of the literature quotes Golf Digest Magazine as saying, "A hidden Gem" that will "test every club in your bag...". Also this course is again rated 4 stars and Best Places to Play.
It is a 18 hole course that is quite a challenge. Farmington, Missouri, had endured one of its worst winters; one week before we arrived, there was snow!The course was not in its usual topnotch shape, but it was still quite beautiful.
You could play from one of five tee-off spots [gold, blue, white, black, or red]. It ranges from 7093 to 5300 yards. To keep the court in great shape they enforce no carts closer than 50 yards around the green, no carts on par 3's, use of cart paths and in fairways only, replace divots and ball marks as well as raking the sand bunkers" In addition, they insist that food and beverages must be purchased on the Course.
We played when WINTER RATES were still being used.
Winter Rates: Mon-Thurs: $20.00; Fri-Sun: $25.00 and that includes the cart!
They have these rates regularly:
All Day Golf with cart Mon-Thurs. $35.00; Friday: $40; Sat-Sun. $45.00 with food!
Seniors [60+] ten dollars less
There are also prices for 9 holes and for twilight [after 2 p.m.]
It's worth mentioning that the Lodge has Golf Packages for Crown Point Lodge such as:
1 night stay and 1 day of golf for $95.00 weekdays or $101.00 weekends which is really an excellent price.
Equipment: Allan and I brought our own golf clubs, balls, golf shoes, tees, golf gloves, golf hats, and appropriate golf wear. Always check with the golf club about any particular rules about appropriate golf wear such as shirts with collars, etc
