Everything is wonderful - the food, atmosphere, service...etc. The portions are huge so be prepared to either share, or take some home with you. Chances are you will not have room for the cheesecake...
Favorite Dish:
Jumbo Chicken Chop
The Cheesecake Factory is a moderately priced restaurant, but you may have to wait, depending on when you go. Sometimes the area at the bar and the 'high' tables are available even when the other seating areas are full, be sure to ask if you don't want to wait. Everything is well prepared and flavorful. Be prepared...you will get way more food than the average person can eat. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal (as so much of Kansas City is). Save room for the cheesecake - scrumptious.
Favorite Dish:
Everything is fantastic, but my favorites are the crab cakes...the spicy sauce is so good..and the Chicken Quesedilla Grande. This is a large flour tortilla filled with grilled chicken, cheese, roasted vegetable (if you choose) and other good things.
A unique restaurant known for huge portions and fabulous food. They offer over 200 menu items from Avocado Eggrolls, Tuscan Chicken Salad and Specialty Pizzas, to great Steaks, Fresh Fish, Pasta, Omelets, and Classic Burgers.
Favorite Dish:
The mashed potatoes, however I have not tried anything I didn't like at this restaurant and the portions are HUGE so come hungry! Of course, with a name like Cheesecake Factory, you can't leave without trying one of their delicious slices of cheesecake. My favorite has to be plain ole strawberry, but they have an entirely separate desert menu that is bound to please even the pickiest of eaters.
When you sit down to a restaurant, and the server hands you a spiral-bound menu, you know you're going to have a hard time deciding what to order. Everything looks so good! But, whatever you do, save room for the cheesecake...they have more than 30 different flavors from fresh strawberry to dutch apple caramel streusel to chocolate raspberry truffle to chocolate peanut butter cookie dough.
When you dine at The Cheesecake Factory, come early...you will wait, sometimes more than an hour. It's very crowded, but it's so worth it. Even if it's just for a slice of cheesecake. It is rather on the pricey side, too. If you just want a cheesecake, the bakery is right there and you can order what you want and eat it in the comfort of your own home or hotel room.
I would highly recommend eating there once.
Favorite Dish:
It takes me forever to decide what I want to order. There is a wealth of choices. Heck, it took me 10 minutes to decide on a slice of cheesecake.
Last time, I ordered Crusted Chicken Romano-- Breast of Chicken Coated with a Romano and Parmesan Cheese Crust.
Served with Pasta in a Light Tomato Sauce.
I think I had a Pina Colada, too, but I can't remember. *g*
I decided on a white chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake, also known as heaven on a plate.
It even has outside heaters for outside seating on cool days.
Favorite Dish:
The Cheesecake, but expect to spend alot of money here.
Lots of atmosphere and a very nice, personable bartender.
Favorite Dish:
Any kind of smoothie or iced tea. The smoothies are large and delicious. The iced tea had a delicate citrusy tang of mango. Very refreshing
