It is located inside one of the more popular hotels-Marriott at I-435 and Metcalf. The restaurant has been there for maybe 20 years. It is the hot grill where they cook at the your spot with about 10-12 people surrounding the griddle. The treat is watching the art of flipping the food and ending up throwing some in your mouth and the rest passed out on plates.
The joy is coming for the entertainment of watching the "chefs" flip and manipulate the foods. Some of the old traditional ones are now gone, and being replaced by lesser qualified people; that is disappointing because the art of the show is diminished. Prices can get right on up there to by $40 each if you are not careful; and they add 18% tip to the bill
Favorite Dish: The choices are slim, so to speak. They servings are not a lot and you cannot get filled up on the veggies being cooked. Choices are shrimp, chicken or steak. I choose the shrimp since it feels more like Japanese. It all is good in taste and the side bowls of spices go along with the meal well.
