Right next door to Kauffman Stadium is Arrowhead Stadium.

I don't think I can say enough about this team and it's history. Since the day we set foot on Kansas soil, we have heard of two things...Kansas State and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs have deep roots in Kansas City despite the fact that the team originated from Texas. (funny isn't it, kinda like cowboys and indians).

After moving to KC in 1963, they played in Municpal Stadium. However, with the increase of fanbase and attendance they sought a larger location. Thus enters the novel idea of having a baseball and football stadium right next to eachother. In 1972, Truman Sports Complex housing the newly built Arrowhead Stadium, saw it's first game. The concept of Arrrowhead and Kauffman stadiums, at the time, was the most futuristic and innovative. The mid 90s brought two state-of-the-art JumboTrons (aptly named ArrowVision),the expansion of Arrowhead Club, the Chiefs team and office facilities, as well as the stadium's concession areas. To date, it is still in top shape.

With regards to the team and team members, there are a few naughty boys in the team, however what impressed me with this team is the overall consensus of giving back to the community through camps, sponsorships, fundraisers, and charities.

Arrowhead Stadium is home to the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League, and to some of the country's most rabid fans and tail-gate partiers.

Chiefs are the pro football team here in KC and watch out cause KC people are crazy high spirited fans. Im personally not a football fan but its fun watching everyone get all excited!
