This was quite a pleasant experience for the museum to see the activity of money. The museum is free and is in the lobby of the Fed Reserve building. It seems small, but if you look at the exhibits and read the monuments, it will be about two hours tour. We enjoyed it thoroughly and you also can see the movement of money into bundles and stacking in the automatic processing machines. Overall it was a different and fascinating tour.

There is a great Civil War battle tour in Mid-Town Kansas City. It is self guided and very interesting.

It is hard to imagine thousands of men trying to kill each other on a nice fall day but they did. It is an interesting battle because it was decided to a large degree by the terrain.

The tour is right in the heart of mid-town. It easy to follow from stop to stop.

The tour runs all over K.C. but the most interesting parts are right around Loose Park.

    It is totaly FREE!!

    Nice Home Converted to Museum

    Kansas City Museum

As of 2009, it is closed for restoration-beware because the cost is astronomical at $5 million and the city has not money to do over. It was the KC museum and conjuncts with Union Station, which also is in jeopardy of closing if something is not done soon.

I was nervous to take the elevator up inside this thing...however, once up there the view is spectacular! Very interesting museum at bottom.
