Liberty Travel Guide

There are a lot of beautiful old homes which have been well maintained. Some have been turned into antique stores or restaurants.

Interstate 35 North (of Kansas City)
the best exit into Liberty is Exit 16
that is Mo 152 highway goes west and Kansas Street, going East, will take you into Liberty
Keep going East on Kansas to get to the town square
Use Kansas street and also Mo 291 highway goes along the west side to the south side of town.
watch for one way streets near the square!
Liberty Drive is another nice drive into town, and will take you to Mill Street, just 1 block from the square

Visiting Liberty is easy. Just shop at the unique shops on and near the square, or, just hang out at the bookstore or SRO frozen custard shop. Every store, the folks are friendly and helpful.
Also, visit the college here, William Jewell College. It won the Time magazine of the year award this year.
They have some cultural stuff too, along with the Liberty Community Center and High Arts preformance center has many nice events.
