People all over the midwest and south know about Lambert's and they talk about the throwed rolls. The Travel Channel called it "The Top Place to Pig Out." The three Lambert locations (also in Sikeston, Missouri, and in Alabama) have been written about in travel and food publications all over the world. It's loud, it's fun, and the down-home, comfort food is great. And - yes, they do throw your dinner rolls to you, so be ready!

Are you hungry??? This place is a well known place around here. Check out my main Ozark page and travelogues for more pictures and comments. This place provides very genorous portions of food and drink. it is impossible to go home hungry from this place because the food is unlimited. One steak didn't fill you up then try another one! The warm rolls they throw at you WONDERFUL

The web address shows the menu and history of this exciting place.

Things to know about this place is that it only accepts check or cash, no debit or credit cards. Also try to go during the week because on the weekends there is atleast a two hour wait. There is a great cheese and wine store right next door that is open pretty late if you do have to wait. Also if it is your birthday you get to eat free.

Favorite Dish: Fried Potatoes especially the burnt crispy ones!!!

Favorite Dish: Nancy and I could not resist ordering the chicken fried steak. It was served up in a skillet, and was done to perfection. The available side dishes were numerous, tasty, and continually available from servers. We learned that it was all you could eat on the meat, too, but the initial serving was generous enough for us.

Thumbs up for the food and the fun!!!

Looks good enough to eat, and eat, and eat...
