    Rigazzi's: Rigazzi's-Italian old Tradition

The food quality has deteriorated since I was last there 10 years ago, and the place is now stale looking. Still fairly decent food, though. The pasta dishes for $10 are mostly pasta. Pizzas cost a lot at $19 for medium 14 inch, and the chicken plate is $13. All seem to be high in price for what you get. Service was not very good either, with disorganized staff on the floor, and mixed up orders.

Favorite Dish: WE had the pizza and it used to be my favorite. Another was the fried chicken plate that had crispy chicken and fries.

Rigazzis: Highly Over-rated but Popular Italian Place

by LauraWest Written Mar 12, 2008

I am very particular about restaurant food and think popular restaurants in St. Louis are sometimes not good at all, such as Rigazzis. Been there twice (0nce on a date with an Italian American guy & second time was impulsive, with people giving me a ride home) & thought it not good at all! Just boring and bland. It is a large, noisy place, with uninspired food.

But there are many great, independent places to eat here! What area of town & kind of food do you desire? I'd be happy to advise. Just drop me a line.

Riggazi on the Hill, or the Old Spegitti factory on the Landing.

Favorite Dish: At Riggazi it is the Fish bowl of beer or soda, and pretty much any dish on the meneu. The factory is the bread, fresh baked and just great.
